School Hours

The attendance for the age group 18 to 24 months can be
2 - 5 days/week.

Ratio/Class size Group size is 4 - 6 children with one teacher and two assistants.

At this age, children are achieving major developmental milestones at varying stages. The learning focus at CLCB is play based together with a strong emphasis on movement to support body development as well as balance and co-ordination.

Language learning is through pictures, photographs, objects, song, rhymes, finger plays, and  musical activity (see ABC Musik&Me Program) as well as brief teacher structured ´lessons`.

Children also learn:

• how to separate from known adults (parents/Ayi’s)
• how to listen and follow simple instructions
• how to sit and eat using cutlery and conventional cups

For further learning our Nursery class joins the Junior class for activities such as morning snacks, free-play, story time and some art/craft projects.
