About CLCB
Children’s Learning Center of Beijing (CLCB) was founded in 2004 and is a non-profit bilingual pre-school offering a high standard and diverse educational program to foreign expatriates in the heart of Shunyi District. CLCB’s teaching approach is child-centered, where children learn through structured play and activities.
Our pre-school delivers high quality early childhood education services in a caring, secure and child-centered environment. We emphasize a “Happy Learning” philosophy which provides a meaningful and educational experience for all children. We believe a happy child will learn better and faster.
In our classes, teachers use creative educational activities and games to encourage children’s natural curiosity and creativity and to develop their personal and social skills, inspire them with a life-long love of learning and enable them with confidence to fulfill their potential. Our teachers are all highly qualified teachers.
All our English and Chinese programs are taught by qualified native English and Mandarin teachers.

CLCB Mission Statement
We believe that learning is a journey not a race… This journey begins from birth and becomes a life-long experience. Opportunities and experiences that we provide are fun yet with purpose and cater to the social/emotional, physical, creative and academic development of a child.
We provide a safe, friendly and stimulating environment in which to play, socialize and learn. Children will progress through our center from an early age through to the Preparatory level where they will move onto larger national and international schools with a solid skill foundation and interest in learning. Through exploration, imaginary play, and the use of the five senses, their minds are developing and will be ready to meet later challenges.
During the school year, children will, along with their teachers, use music, language and visual arts to explore different themes and ideas of interest and meaning to them. Different fieldtrips throughout the year can also offer inspiration that leads the group to explore.
