CLCB is a registered bilingual Kindergarten in Beijing Shunyi District. We follow a complete International Kindergarten curriculum with emphasis on developing creativity. Registration for School Year 2009 — 2010
The registration for the school year 2009 — 2010 is open. Please submit your application package so we can secure a space for your child. Special offer is valid for registration before August 1st.
Upcoming Events
Graduation Party June 11th
The end of the year celebration will be June 11th. This is a day we celebrate your children and all their success for this year. To celebrate the end of the year, the children and teachers are planning a spectacular performance that highlights and draws together the creative abilities of all children. Everyone is invited that day. Following this event including the important Kindergarten Graduation ceremony, CLCB will close from 12noon. Please arrange for your child to be taken home or picked up directly.

Kindermusik Workshop and Open Classroom June 1st
Since we have to follow strict rules given from the Chinese Government because of the Swine influenza prevention we decided to change the open house activity to a Kindermusik Workshop and an open classroom activity only for our parents. On Monday, June 1st from 13:30pm — 15:30pm we are happy to welcome Ms Sarah Peel Li, who will present the concept of Kindermusik to you and "Why is Kindermusik Good for Your Child". Please see the invitation detailing our proposed schedule for the day. Thank you and we look forward to you joining us.
Crab Island
Our Field trip to the Crab Island was an action packed, fun-filled, non-competitive day for all. Thanks to all parents who made it possible to rent a bus. It was great to see what our children had learned and they enjoyed it very much.
Kindermusik for CLCB Children
Children's Learning Center of Beijing will offer for all CLCB Children several Kindermusik programs from July 2009 onwards. More information about Kindermusik you can find under kindermusik.com. A short overview we collected for you here.
Summer Camp
Summer camp for children 2 — 7 years old will provide fun activities from July 6th — August 21st 2009. Look and see what fun things we have planned! Sign up soon, the places are filling up quickly and are given on a "first come, first served base".
Charity drive
During May we are going to organize our next charity drive. If you would like to participate please bring within the next weeks until May 25th any kind of second hand clothes mainly for children for the age 1.5 to 3 years but also for older ones. The donation will go to Chao Yang District Beijing Dong Fang Children Welfare House, a private non-profit social welfare organization located in Chao Yang district, Cui Ge Zhuang village Bei Gao No.1.
May Field trip
During the last couple of weeks the teachers talked with the children about spring and spring related topics like animals and plants. Now it is time for another field trip. We are planning a field trip for the 3rd week of May to Crab Island. The children will visit the animal garden and have a picnic with games and fun.

CLCB Easter Party and Open House day

I want to thank all those who participated in our Easter and Open House Party. It was a very joyful day. Many CLCB children came with their families and we had many interested parents visiting the school to learn more about CLCB. The children had a lot of fun with activities including face painting, egg painting, and making baskets for the egg hunt. In the end, each child exchanged the collected eggs with a nice present containing chocolate eggs and an egg shaker sponsored by Kindermusik (Sarah Peel Li, Area Developer — Beijing, Kindermusik International). The children had a wonderful time full of curiosity, imagination and creativity.
"Charity Day" with School Magic Show

CLCB is hosting the first "Charity Day". We hold this day to assist the children from China Care housing facility in ShunYi district. There will be a cooking class for the children, arts and face painting activities and "Mr. Magic" with his performance.
CLCB Photo Day

We had a photographer taking professional photos from our children. Professional photographers, Imagine Studio spent a day at our school capturing numerous smiles, giggles and other poses of all children/teachers from Nursery class through to Kindergarten. Having school photos taken is a lovely way to look back in years to come to see the youthfulness of our children and remember friends and faces.
Field Trip "Snow Fun"

Our "Snow Fun" field trip to Chaoyang Park was great. The CLCB children went to Chaoyang Park for skiing and sledging, everybody had a great time! Special thanks to Ms. Kristina and all of the CLCB team members for organizing and implementing this fun outdoor activity. Thanks to all the parents and guardians support!

St. Martin Day

Our German community celebrated the day of St. Martin. The children made their own lanterns which they were proudly holding during the lantern procession. The children enjoyed watching the theater play which told them the story of St. Martin and after the children could share their bread with someone else, as it is tradition to share something on the day of St. Martin. Thank you to Ms. Julia, Ms. Nielsen and all German parents who have been volunteering for this event. Visit our gallery to see the photos...
